Motivation for Sponsored Child
Sponsors' Commitment
Your minimum commitment in the iBelieve Child Sponsorship program is one year. You will be asked how many years you would like the sponsorship to last. Ideally, the sponsorship continues until the supported child finishes high school or maybe into college/university. However, you can terminate the sponsorship at anytime after one year. If that happens, we will look for another sponsor to take over the torch. The iBelieve Child Sponsorship Fund will cover for the period after the old sponsorship ends and before the new sponsorship starts.
Annual sponsorship fee varies depending on the situation of the supported Child. If the child lives in own home while going to school, the sponsorship fee will be around $25 monthly. However, if the school is too far to commute every day, or the child is not expected to receive necessary care at home, or the child's home is deemed unsafe anymore, the child will need residence in or near school and the sponsorship fee will need to include residence fee and food cost.
The profile of each student candidate lists the annual sponsorship fee. Please note the cost could change with the student moving into a higher grade. If that happens, we will notify you in advance.
