Teach Skiing for Nepali Children

Downhill skiing is a great escape from the routines of everyday life for people who want to embrace what the nature provides. It is one of the outdoor sports that Kim likes. Ever since she started skiing, she has enjoyed the long winter in Canada. With a full-time office job, Kim loves the picturesque snow covered mountain peaks and the exhilarating feeling of gliding down the hills.
Skiing is a sport that requires confidence, skills and practice. Without the fundamental skills and proper judgment, skiers could take unnecessary risk and get injured. Kim has seen so many beginner skiers on intermediate or advance slopes before they have mastered the necessary skills. Kim has also heard many skiers got injured from skiing and decided to stay away from downhill skiing from then on.

To share her passion for downhill skiing with more people, Kim obtained a license from the Certified Ski Instructor Association (CSIA) in Canada, and became a ski instructor. Skiing is an enjoyable sport as long as you master the fundamental skills. Kim wants more people to enjoy this sport in a safe way. She enjoys working on the slopes and helping other people obtain skiing skills, and loves it when she sees her students have improved and can navigate the slopes.

Now, Kim takes her passion one step further. She decides to donate all proceeds from teaching skiing to Project iBelieve. To Kim, teaching skiing is now not only a way to share her passion for outdoor sports, but also a tool to create opportunities for Nepali children in remote mountainous areas.
Kim gives lessons at Mount St Louis Moonstone in Ontario, Canada. If you would like a skiing lesson from Kim, contact her and she would be happy to help you.
